Inspiration: Issa Spring 2012 Ready-to-Wear Collection

Receiving fashion inspiration from Runway Shows enables us to incorporate high end fashion looks and trends into our own style, and wear them just as good as the models on the runway.

Today we are grabbing inspiration from Issa’s Spring 2012 Ready-to-Wear Collection. This collection displayed all the elements from vibrant and soft colors, to lace, gorgeous floral prints, and all things girly!

Now let’s get started shall we?

Note: These looks are not supposed to portray what is exactly in the images, we are simply just getting inspired.

You know the saying “red goes with everything”, it is true! In this look, the dresses look quite similiar, but the one I have chosen is strapless, if you are not comfortable showing your shoulders, you can always go for something that suits you. This look is perfect for a lunch or coffee date, it is not to dressy, and paired with the cardigan, it tones the dress down; making it quite casual. I finished off this look with these nude flats, and added this red purse for a pop of color.

Now this is one of the outfits from the collection I wish I could have duplicated. I just love this dress!  I knew I was not going to find a dress that was the exact print, because this dress is one of a kind, so this floral dress was my next option (and if I may add, I think it captures the colors quite well). To finish of this look, I went with these nude heels, and a turquoise clutch to bring out one of the hues from the dress, making the dress the focal point.

Issa’s dress is pretty, but I prefer this Asos lace dress instead. In the picture the model is wearing a pair of mint colored heels, and since mint green is going to be one of  my trendy colors this season, I decided to stick with this color, and pile it on heavy!
