Runway Review: Marc Jacobs Resort 2017 Collection

Marc Jacobs Resort 2017 collection was designed exclusively for me. The prints, the acid wash jeans, the dope oversized bomber jackets, and patchwork pieces were speaking to me.

The midi length skirts shown in this collection can be worn throughout the year and can easily become a staple in your wardrobe.

I’m also a huge fan of the patchworked and embellished garments, I love how these simple silhouettes are packing a bold punch with the added accessories.

Last but definitely not least, my obsession with all things shiny is not going anywhere. So you know this gold metallic skirt was top on my list. It’s sexy, bold, and would definitely stir up some interesting conversations. You can wear this piece to work, school, or to the grocery store. Hell, I would.

The acid wash denim pieces was also an ode to the ’80s, that I was loving. And being the ┬ávintage addict that I am, I couldn’t help but not love this and the checkerboard printed skirt as well. The checkerboard printed skirt is something that I can see myself wearing with a bright colored bodysuit and some glitter sneakers.

Besides the garments, the overall styling was just amazing. Now I need a pair of glitter and snakeskin boots too.

What did you think of this collection? Are you loving the bold and vintage vibes as well?
