Last year in May, I blogged about turning your vintage linens into clothing. Fast forward to today, “Best friend” rapper Saweetie is wearing a vibrant cartoon graphic hoodie made from vintage sheets!
How do I know? I own three of the sheets that were made with them, because I’m also planning on up-cycling mine as well.

Reduce Your Carbon Footprint
There are so many ways you can introduce sustainable practices into your wardrobe, and this is one of them. Upcycling old linens into clothes and bags, and even revamping your old clothes and turning them into something new, reduces your carbon footprint and prevents fashion waste.
You can also try shopping at thrift stores and swapping out clothes with your friends to avoid trashing these items as well.
The primary goal is to NOT send any more clothes to landfills.
