A congratulations is in order for songstress and total bad ass Robyn Rihanna Fenty who took to Instagram to announce her partnership with LVMH.
She writes, “big day for the culture. Thank you Mr. Arnault for believing in this little girl from the left side of an island, and for giving me the opportunity to grow with you at @LVMH . This is proof that nothing is impossible. Glory be to God.”
Rihanna is making history by becoming the first woman of color to be at the top of an LVMH Maison, and Fenty will be the first new house created by LVMH since Christian Lacroix in 1987.
With brands like Dior, Marc Jacobs, Louis Vuitton, and Kenzo being under the LVMH umbrella, we can expect Rihanna to continue giving us a taste of her personal style with an innovative approach. Her Fenty line will include Ready-to-Wear pieces, shoes and accessories, and will be based in Paris.
Fenty will launch in Spring 2019.
