The picture of Tracee Ellis Ross in her vibrant pink Valentino Couture gown has been on every fashion Instagram page, website, and my personal screen saver to say the least. When she wore this look to the 2018 Emmys, I immediately thought of the exclusivity and whimsicality behind such a wonderful dress. It’s something about this bright, daring, voluminous, and effortless look that I somehow just want more of.
Seriously, this dress is perfection.
When it to came to styling this beauty, Ross kept her makeup very simple, and styled this dress with Tamara Mellon heels, and jewelry from Repossi. However, the rebel in me would have paired this dress with a rhinestone choker, and a pair of Vans or Converse (since no one is going to see them anyway), for a more edgy, and all around extra as look. But hey that’s just me.
