I was a little taken back by Balmain’s Fall 2018 Ready-to-Wear collection. Iridescent and sheer fabrics, full-blown sequin garments? Is this really Balmain.
It’s refreshing to see how the brand is utilizing different fabrics and creating compelling pieces that are going to reach that consumer whose style is a little more whimsical. Head-to-toe hologram and sequin suits are perfect office attire ensembles, especially, if you’re the type to go against the norm. Don’t work in a office, who cares? You can where these looks when you’re out on the town, or having lunch or dinner with friends. Either way it goes, you’re bound to become a conversation starter.

Sucker For Sequins!
