There is no doubt that you have probably seen the famous Balenciaga Triple S dad sneakers floating around on your favorite social media sites for quite sometime now. You know the shoes with the really thick soles? Yeah, those are the ones I’m referring to.
Everything about these shoes just matches perfectly with my personal style— they are extra as hell. I’m pretty sure no one needs shoes these thick, but if you like going against the grain why not want a pair?
Priced at $895, these dad sneakers are nowhere near what I can afford for a pair of shoes, but a girl can dream right? I just hope that one day I’ll be able to splurge freely on a pair of sneakers and not think twice about it.
But if you’re like me and can not or will not spend almost $900 on a pair of sneakers, stores like Steve Madden and Zara has been offering their own take on the shoe with a more generous price tag. These have not grown on me just yet, let’s just hope they will.
