A huge congratulations is in order for Virgil Abloh, the founder of Milan-based high-end fashion label Off-White. With Abloh being appointed as the new artistic director for the brand, you can expect that their new designs are going to be refreshing and even more unconventional.
The new artistic director told LVMH “It is an honor for me to accept the position of Men’s Artistic Director for Louis Vuitton. I find the heritage and creative integrity of the House are key inspirations and will look to reference them both while drawing parallels to modern times.” stated Virgil Abloh.”
Abloh’s first show as the new creative director for Louis Vuitton will take place in June during Men’s Fashion Week in Paris.
Looking at a few of Abloh’s designs from Off-White’s Fall 2018 Collection, I can see why he was chosen as the new artistic director—the level of craftmanship is far from average.
