Runway Inspiration: Enough Fringe For All Of Us!

For Spring 2018, there were a few designers that took the love of fringe to a whole different level. You’re probably used to seeing a little fringe here and there on garments and accessories, such as leather jackets, skirts , and a few handbags (you know the “norm”) but these fully-fringed dresses proves  just how beautiful a garment can be when it’s elevated with just the right amount of oomph in it.

Calvin Klein

Raf Simons gave us a cool and refreshing vibe with a few of his fringe pieces in  Calvin Klein’s Spring 2018 collection that brings the saying “Art is Fashion” to life. These frocks are perfect for when you want to change up the conversation a little, or showcase your free-spirited side.

Paco Rabanne

Rabanne’s collection on the other hand was a little more youthful and sparkly when it came down to how  designer Julien Dossena wanted to present his fringe. The inspiration behind these looks were disco-themed.

Its the silver garments that has me in a trance. I can see myself now— walking and glistening all eyes on me.

Elie Saab

Elie Saab’s take on fringe was a little different. He wanted his onlookers to be in more of a natural environment—hence, the jungle theme.  My favorite, the moss-like dress, I’m in love with the color.

I can totally see Paris Hilton, Zendaya, or Solange Knowles sporting some of these pieces at a festival or on the red carpet.

Are you fascinated with these fringe-y frocks? Loving the trend? How do you see yourself wearing it for spring?
