Life After Grad School, And Finding Myself

I guess, a welcome a back is in order.

I’m sorry for my lack of posting for the past two months, but after graduating from college AGAIN, I decided that I needed to take a much needed break from blogging and Instagram to focus more on myself.

And you know what? It felt really good. It felt good catching up on some good reads, relaxing, and foreseeing where I wanted to take my blog and my brand.

Life After Grad School

As of right now I am planning on opening my own online boutique featuring some of my handmade designs and vintage goods. I know, I know, there are tons of boutiques out there already, but there are none with my personality and voice. After graduating, I realized that I can take those skills I learned and paid for (obviously),  and invest that money back into myself. It’s going to be a lot of work I know, but I’m prepared to do what I got to do.

Finding Myself

Before I planned to open up my own online boutique, I honestly didn’t know what I wanted to do with my life. While working in retail is exciting,  the sporadic hours are a no-go for me.  I wanted to focus on something that I enjoyed doing, and for it to not feel like I was being forced into it. And honestly, scouring different markets for vintage goods, blogging about things that interest me in the fashion industry, and designing and being creative are all of the things that I actually enjoy doing with my life, and I would hopefully one day  love to turn it into a full-time job.

I’m crossing my fingers for a positive future.

Until next time you guys …
