Get Inspired! Wizard of Oz: Dorothy

Fashion is all about having fun, and I make sure that it is emphasized on my blog. For today’s Outfit Inspirations I decided to receive a little inspiration from the remarkable story, The Wizard of Oz and the Character being featured is yours truly Dorothy Gale. Hope you enjoy xoxo.

Dorothy’s personality is soft, feminine, and courageous. So make a bold statement with this  A-line tulle skirt and these Red Glitter Jeffrey Campbell Boots! This pussy bow blouse continues to add femininity while still being some-what subtle (well not really). For accessories, I added these Ruby Drop Earrings, and this gold cuff. If you want add a little glitter to your nails as well!

Product Information

In this ensemble I wanted to go for a more casual look. These form fitting light blue skinny jeans captures the color of Dorothy’s dress perfectly, while this white sheer top imaginatively shows Dorothy’s naughty side. Now for the shoes, I really think if Dorothy knew that for every pair of Tom’s she purchased, another pair would be donated to a child in need, she would have all the Red Glitter Tom’s!

I know, I know these outfits are so literal! I just can not get enough of this color combination, it is just so adorable. Instead of adding red glitter for the shoes, I opted for a red sweater. To finish off this look I added these nude glitter flats, and I kept the accessories to a minimum.

What do you think of the outfits above? Have you ever seen
